A Little Hello - Patterns & Pieces

Hello friends!  Today's post is short and sweet - it's my husband's birthday and we've got a day of fun ahead of us!

This card is an odd one for me - can you see why?

What do you think of those colours?  Brown, tan, green - no, I'm not sick!  This is SO FAR out of my comfort zone - by which I mean bold and bright! - that I can't even believe I created it!  I wanted something rustic and forest-y to go with that little bear, and now here we are... have I ever used Garden Green before?!  I'm not sure I have!

This fun little card combines two stamp sets - Pieces & Patterns and Badges & Banners - with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper - kind of an odd combination, but I think it works!  The combination of Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Garden Green reminds me of a forest ranger's uniform - perfect for a little grizzly.  What do you think?  Are neutrals my new jam?  #icouldnever

The end of July is just around the corner, and that means two things...

We are celebrating Bonus Days in July, and that means free stuff for you!  For every $60 spent in July (before shipping and tax) you'll receive a $6 voucher to spend in August.  Hooray for free stamps!

And since we all love free stuff, I'm sweeting the deal...

July Ordering Bonus:  Orders of $60 or more from my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store will receive a free package of Corrugated Elements Embellishments.  Yay!  Make sure to enter the host code WPFUYHGN at checkout - it's your key to this offer!

Thanks so much for stopping in today - see you again soon!

Cheers,
Shannon

  2. I think we have the same taste in colors. I don't use Garden Green much either, but I LOVE what you did with it here! I can think of a little boy in my life that would love this card!
